So a disappointing night it has to be said. They happen from time, but you have to remain calm and confident.

Stoke = Battled hard and got some of their luck that has gone missing in recent weeks, despite Birmingham nearly throwing a spanner in the works (probably would have been deserved too!) +1.05pts


Spurs = Craig Gordon thwarted Spurs in the first half, but ultimately Spurs didn't do enough in the 2nd half, and a defensive mix up cost them the 3pts and us. -2pts


Preston = Threw away an early lead to a brilliant strike from Adam Hammill and then another defensive error saw them go away empty handed. -1pt

QPR = A late penalty saw QPR gain a point in a tight game, with few clear cut chances where defences were on top. Both finished up with 10 men. -1pt

Eastbourne = Our big bet of the night, but unfortunately couldn't find a way through Forest Green. Disappointing to say the least. -3pts

Tamworth = Poorer of the two sides on the night, in a poor game, starved of chances and clear cut chances. -2pts

Mansfield = Turned on the style with two second half goals and ending Kettering's recent good form. +1.91pts

Inverness = Heaped the misery on Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee at Pittodrie,but secured us +2.65pts


Profit/Loss for the day on football bets = -3.39pts.


With more midweek football tomorrow, there stands a chance of more football selections, where we'll be determined to go back to the weekend form and return a profit.
Also very likely that there shall be some horse selections too.
