Results

A lot of horses today with two winners, and again a couple of place finishes which makes things just a tad agonising! Still, a profit returned.

Winners:
'Northern Dare' went off at SP 8/1 and came home comfortably to give us a profit of +8pts
'Gallantry' went off too at 5/1 (this was the advised price too) to win by 1.5 lengths for a profit of +5pts

Losers:
'Syrian' went off joint fav but was beaten by 3/4 length by the other fav = -1pt
'Visions of Johanna' was heavily backed into 7/1 SP, despite being available for 14/1+ through the day and 25/1+ on Betfair. Could only finish 4th (although Gallantry won this race!) = -1pt
'Aqua Vitae' was involved in a close race, pipped into 3rd place = -1pt
'Mr Skipiton' did not really do anything to justify his short price today = -1pt
'Urban Kode' was our 2pt stake bet and was also disappointing, finishing 6 or so lengths behind the winner in 3rd. = -2pts

Total P&L = +7pts

So not a bad day, but we can't help feel it was another day of 'what if' a touch. We're feeling extremely good with the new system in place and are quietly confident that big day is not too far away (hopefully!)
