Weekend Results

A lot to go through!

Football:
17 picks in all, but because from the time of posting to kick off, Wolves and Portsmouth were not available at the suggested price, we did not bet these and therefore discount them. Also, Hearts was called off vs Dundee, meaning no bet in that game either.

Napoli = -2.5pts
Stevenage = -3pts
West Brom = +2.485pts
Carlisle = +1.26pts
Stoke = +3.69pts
Dagenham = +4.905pts
Getafe = -1.5pts
Nurnberg = -2pts
Kaiserslautern = -1pt
Montpellier = +2.02pts
Hoffenheim = -1pt
Mainz = -1pt
Gillingham = +1.38pts
Sporting Gijon = +1.35pts

Football P&L = +5.09pts
Nice to get back into profit, and with Dortmund winning on Friday, this weekend has been good for our football selections after a on-off January so far. A couple of very nice wins for us, Dagenham late away at Hartlepool returned the biggest profit, while wins for Stoke and WBA provided our bigger stake bets came in too. Slighty disappointing in the German league though with all selections losing (Kaiserslautern could only draw.) That said, onwards and upwards hopefully!

Horse Racing:
With the new system in place, we are seeing a much bigger range of bets. We're providing more selections, but this does not mean we are hedging our bets even more, just that we are now filtering a lot more information than we did before, so more horses become bets for us. We are backing both the old system and new system bets to the value of 1% of starting bank so this should not change for you either.

Saturday:
10 bets in total, including 2 x 2pt bets, so 12pts staked in total. Just the two winners unfortunately on a disappointing day.

Angelic Upstart = -2pts
Edgeworth = -1pt
Tagansky = -2pts
Pipers Piping = -1pt
Record Breaker = -1pt
Green Wadi = -1pt
Chablais = +2.5pts
Made In Time = -1pt
Cruchain = -1pt
Polyfast = +5pts

Sunday:
4 bets for us total, with a total of 5pts staked. Again a bad day, with everything losing.

Powerful Presence = -2pts
Zarius = -1pt
Herseille = -1pt
Sir Kezbah = -1pt

Total Sat + Sun horse P&L = -7.5pts

A bad weekend then. Although some losses were expected because some selections were in the same race, -7.5pts is still a bad return on what has so far been a good run for us recently. What makes it a little more frustrating is seeing some other big priced winners come home, especially today!

Anyhow, we won't be getting too disheartened, as we look to return to horse racing form this week, and continue on with our football.

Hope you've had a decent weekend, back tomorrow.

P.S If we recall correctly, a post was made about how sometimes we can be backing two horses in a race. If anyone has any queries, please email us at wizardbet@googlemail.com and we shall either post an answer on here, or reply in person. Thanks
