No Sunday Bets

There are no bets for us today.

Yesterday:
A good day :)

Epsom -
Have not got a lot right here over the last couple of days. The Derby was a fantastic race, and Pour Moi ran an incredible finish to win. I personally and not fussed over jockey Barzalona pre-celebration. The emotion of winning such a prestigious race in those circumstances clearly got the better of him at 19, and I think if he realised how tight it was, he wouldn't. He came and accepted it arguably was not the best thing to do, but who can blame him for being caught up in the moment. I was relatively impressed by Carlton's House's ride, but clearly a few things didn't go for him on the day. The injury in the week could have hampered, whilst losing a shoe in the last furlong, although not a major issue, all contributes. Either way, this meeting was still profitable with just the one 16/1 winner.

Rio De La Plata 3rd - ran promisingly and always threatening. Not quite the extra required though = -1pt

Masamah = -1pt
Indian Trail = -2pts
Perfect Blossom = -2pts - All three did not run anywhere near enough to ever look like winning.

Carlton House = -2pts
Recital = -1pt

Bourne - hampered in running and weakened = -1pt
Fox Hunt WON - well backed from advised 16/1 to 15/2, stayed on strongly to win landing +16pts for the win bet and +4pts for the EW bet = +20pts

Secret Witness = -1pt

Musselburgh:
Barnet Fair WON, taking his opportunity well @ advised 4/1 = +4pts
Gottcher = -1pt

Newcastle:
Convince - did not = -1pt

Doncaster:
Falls Of Lora WON well as a 2pt bet @ advised 5/2, even after a hampered start coming out of the stalls = +5pts

Sunday P&L then is a nice +16pts.
