Monday
Shuhra ran no real race to justify the price = -1pt
Copper Falls did ok, until tailing off = -1pt
Sixty Roses ran well, despite being held up early. Couldn't quite beat the pace = -1pt
Cloud Illusions had a very poor run = -1pt
Some of the runs were ok, but the results not. = -4pts
Tuesday
Carragold finished strongly and WON @ advised 4/1 = +4pts
Hal Of A Lover 2nd as 2pt bet. Looked good, but the jolly had too much and was a worthy winner = -3pts
Here Now And Why started positively, but weakened = -1pt
Newby Lodge WON, found a gap late on and surged through, just holding on, @ 11/2 = +5.5pts
Timocracy ran well and was leading, until around 2f, when he tailed off dramatically to finish last = -1pt
Cheylesmore 3rd, just lacking that little extra to really kick on = -1pt
Tagansky off the pace a bit = -1pt
Mycenean Prince looked involved, but soon fell away = -1pt
Rocky Rebel 3rd ran promisingly, but weakened in the latter stages. = -1pt
So again some promising runs, but too much 'tailing off'. Confident going changes did affect things, but it is part and parcel when we have such unpredictable weather. 2 winners meaning a narrow +0.5pts profit on the day.
Wednesday:
Falasteen again ran ok before fading = -2pts
Entifaadha WON and was well backed. Finished well @ 5/1 = +5pts
Lees Anthem had a positive start, but that was about it = -1pt
Verinco WON and was smashed into, going off 10/3f. The 7/1 looks superb! = +7pts
Muqtarrib looked like coming in for a strong finish, until weakening = -1pt
Direct Answer WON @ advised 5/2 in a very strong finish = +4pts
Novabridge 3rd despite leading until around 2f out = -1pt
Magical Speedfit drifted out to 7/1SP, but just finished back in 3rd = -1pt
Mawsem pulled up = -1pt
So 3 winners, contributing to a +9pts day.
