Tuesday:
Jack My Boy = -1pt
The Mongoose = -1pt
Both failing to threaten much unfortunately. = -2pts
Wednesday:
Cravat WON as the 2pt bet @ advised 7/2 in a convincing run = +7pts
Wayne Manor held up, and tailed off = -1pt
Serious Choice never got going = -1pt
Safe Investment was anything but = -1pt
Specific started well, but weakened badly = -1pt
So, nice for the 2pt bets to come back and win, but the others did not offer much at all. +3pts for the day.
Football:
Apologies Newport was a late bet, but it was certainly worth it! Unfortunately Stockport couldn't make it 3/3.
Grimsby won 5-2, as a 2pt bet, with a late show 15mins before time, despite giving away a goal lead twice. +1.74pts
Stockport lost 3-4, in a real match of twists and turns. Going a goal down early on, was cancelled out, with Stockport equalising and then taking the lead, before 2-2 at half time. Stockport then regained the advantage, but another equaliser and an awesome late strike saw Darlington take the points = -1pt
Newport won 1-4 away at Fleetwood, to cap a very good night. Going down to an early goal, they retaliated with 3 goals before the interval. A 4th midway in the 2nd half put the result to bed. 11/2 was available at the whiff books (fred, tote and stan) so will settle at 5/1. +5pts
I know I moan about harsh luck when it goes against us, and while I don't feel we were overly fortunate tonight, it is nice when the games you were involved in see two hat-tricks. (Sam Foley for Newport and Liam Hearne for Grimsby.)
Football profit sees a 5-0 record on the 2pt football bets now, and overall a 5.74pts profit on last night.
