Results Update

Sorry for the delay in getting these done, but I will now on end my laziness of a night and do one daily (I will not wager with anyone that this is the case every day mind!)

Last update was Friday with Thursday results so:

Fri 18th:
Bold Addition 2nd - ran prominently, but back by 10l = -1pt
Broadbackbob WON as the 2pt bet @ adv 5/2, staying on well = +5pts
It's A Privilege weakened = -1pt
New Leyf 2nd by a head - kept on well, but just held off = -1pt
Young Simon 2nd - ran on well, but not enough = -1pt
Fortunate Bid - held up, and then weakened = -1pt
Ajdaad - took a while to get going, but always left chasing = -1pt
Love In The Park 3rd - held up, but a decent finish left him just short = -1pt

So a winning 2pt bet, but 3 x 2nds and a third meant just one winner = -2pts

Sat 19th:
Domtaline - did lead for a short while, but soon outpaced after some dodgy jumping = -1pt
Sun Tzu - pulled up = -1pt
Risaala - started well, but weakened badly as the 2pt bet = -2pts
Kirkhammerton - 3rd, drifted out to 15/2 SP (from 9/2 adv) but a run with many mistakes = -1pt
Anquetta fell at the first = -1pt
Whoateallthepius led until final furlong, when weakened badly to come last = -1pt
Oscar Whisky fell at the last when competing = -1pt
Kauto Star WON @ adv 13/2, made all, and jumped superbly, and pulled clear. Great to see this horse back to his best, a splendid victory = +6.5pts
Arthurian Legend unable to challenge = -1pt
Somersby 2nd - but not good enough to beat Master Minded = -1pt

A blank day, until Kauto came along. Still = -3.5pts

Sun 20th
Far From Blonde - made no impression, always in the middle pack = -1pt
Minella Stars 3rd - one paced = -1pt
Baseball Ted - ran well, and into contention until fading = -1pt
Rimini - tracked early leader well, but no extra = -1pt
Jolibob - blundered late on, and faded after = -1pt
Master Milan 2nd - one paced = -1pt

A bad Sunday = -6pts

Mon 21st
Agent Romano - never looked settled = -1pt
Inside Dealer 2nd, just lacked on the home straight = -1pt
Georgian King no impression = -1pt

3 losers = -3pts

Tues 22nd
Ak Amaan - unseated rider = -1pt
Finbin - pulled up as the 2pt bet = -2pts
Sydney Cove - never threatening = -1pt
Le King Beau 2nd, but one paced = -1pt

No winners again = -5pts

Weds 23rd
Golden Dream - way back = -1pt
Mahadee - never troubled leaders = -1pt
Ukranian Star - led, but started weakening, and blunder 4 out cemented loss = -1pt
Tavalu - way back = -1pt
Layla's King - well beaten = -1pt

-5pts.

So what can i say about this week? Dreadful is the only word to some it up. Not one profitable day, and no winners since Saturday. After thinking we had turned a corner, this has been a set-back. Apart from last Friday where we were a tad unlucky with a number of placings, recently this hasn't been the case. Take it on the chin though!
