Mixed bag - tinged with some more frustration!

Count Of Tuscany as the 2pt bet drifted ridiculously out to 9/1 SP but ran like a 999/1 shot! Led early doors but tailed off dramatically to finish last. -2pts
Hunza Dancer had every chance but was pipped into 3rd place -1pt
Nimue was a nice winner at advised 9/2, by a neck +4.5pts
Blackstone Vegas was backed a touch and justified with the run. A close third by a nk and half a length from winning -1pt
My Love Fajer drifted slightly but came a close 2nd -1pt

The day = -0.5pts. So a small loss, but plenty to be satisfied with, having 2 x 3rd places and 1 x 2nd places. Lets hope we can convert tomorrow

Frequency finished very strongly but couldnt make up for an indifferent start, losing by a neck -1pt
Sinadinou chased well but never enough -1pt
Eijaaz weakened, 4th -1pt
Lady Norlela - so close! Was going to offer this as an EW bet but everything we had said win bet! 2nd by 2.5 lengths -1pt

Results Catch Up

Friday;

Cheltenham - No joy again. Sam Winner in the 1.30 could only managed 4th, whilst Notus De La Tour (2.05) ran promisingly before tailing away. In the 4.40 Barizan finished poorly as well, whilst King Of The Night fell.

Despite that at Lingfield, we had a winner with Apache Glory (5.05) at SP 4/1, but Shared Moment (4.25) came 2nd by a neck and City Legend (3.05) was too pipped but by a short head. Frustrating.

Wolves provided a bit more joy, with Grey Boy winning the 7.20 at 6/1. Our other two picks in the 5.50 made no real impression.

Friday P&L = +1pt

Saturday;

Much better! Lingfield provided two decently priced winners with Clearing House (2.55) at advised 8/1 amd also with Sherjawy (5.15) also at advised 8/1. The 4.05 had two picks with neither offering too much, whilst Spinning Ridge came 4th in the 2.55.

Newcastle - Kings Guard was withdrawn from the 3.20, so no bet.

Uttoxeter fared poorly. Toby Jug pulled up as only 4 runners finished the Midland National, and What A Warrior (4.45) came home only 3rd.

We had three bets and three losers at Ffos Las, including our 2pt bet Brenin Cwmtudu (4.20) who fell.

We had 6 bets at Wolves. Little Richard (6.20) came third, My Lord won the 7.20 at adivised 13/8, as did Copperwood (8.20) winning at 11/2. Unfortunately that was it, as our two picks in the 8.50 came 2nd and 3rd, whilst Duar Marpel was edged into third.

So a winning start at Cheltenham, certainly always good to get a profit banked early doors.

Hurricane Fly came in at advised 3pt bet at 4/1, meaning a good day for punters generally. Unfortunately well fancied Sunnyhillboy fell and Zaidpour wasn't close.
