Results Update

Thursday 29th March:

Dingat 3rd, and had every chance right up until the last furlong, but was just a bit short = -1pt
Roi De Rose WON, @ advised 7/2, staying on well to pull clear = +3.5pts
De Vine Memory never really in it = -1pt
Lastkingofscotland just had no extra = -1pt
Rolecarr weakened badly = -1pt

So a small loss unfortunately with just one winner = -0.5pts

Friday 30th March:

Cyflymder put up a decent challenge, but had nothing extra when needed = -1pt

That was the only bet for the day.

Saturday 31st March:

Reve De Nuit weakened = -1pt
Bannock went off well backed at 6/1 (advised @ 9s) but ran very poorly, finishing last = -1pt
Eton Forever ran well, and looked to be going close, before weakening = -1pt
Qaraaba went off 4/1 joint-fav (advised 13/2) and duly ran on well to win = +6.5pts
Tinshu 2nd, but had no chance with the winner who quickened well late on = -1pt
New Leyf 2nd by a short head, and quite unfortunate = -1pt

So a nice winner with Qaraaba, but two 2nds (one really close) meant the day was not as good as could have been. Still +1.5pts

Sunday there was no bets.

Football:

Friday Night:
Dainava Alytus drew 0-0 = -1pt
Guingamp drew 1-1 after conceding an 85th min equaliser = -1pt
Barnet were undone 0-1 by our arch enemies Torquay = -1pt

Saturday:
Dagenham held on, winning 0-1 away to Port Vale, who also missed a late penalty = +2.8pts
Middlesborough drew 1-1 away to Brighton in a lively game, where both sides could have won = -1.5pts
Morecambe won 1-2 away to Oxford, and the stats reflect a well earned win. Who else thought we would be on the end of another late, costly goal, if being honest? A nice winner, at big odds, finally = +5.5pts
Northampton drew 1-1 with the result, probably fair = -1pt
Rangers won 1-2 away to Motherwell, with a late winner, which went our way! A 2pt bet = +2.66pts
St Mirren were easy winners, 4-2 at home to Kilmarnock, also a 2pt bet = +3pts
Twente won 2-0 = +0.34pts
Wigan won 2-0 against a poor Stoke side, again as a 2pt bet = +3.268pts

Sunday:
Cagliari won 2-0 at home to Atlanta = +1.8pts
Inter Milan overcame Genoa in a thrilling 5-4 victory = +0.65pts
Juventus beat Napoli 3-0 = +0.8pts
Liverpool had chances, but in the end capitulated somewhat as Newcastle ran out easy 2-0 winners = -1.5pts

So on a whole, a very nice weekend! No late heartbreak, and even a couple of late things going for us, who would have thought! 9 winners over the weekend from 15 selections, meaning a 60% SR. The profit recorded is our best weekend to date, with +13.82pts put back on the board, and it is much much needed. A big step taken, but this does not write all the wrongs of the season by any stretch, although a couple more weekends like this certainly will go someway :)

Thanks all!
