Friday 11th May System Bets:

Dubai Dynamo went off 7/2 fav but one paced = -1pt
Desert Strike 2nd but without ever looking like winning = -1pt
Herecomesthetruth pulled up = -1pt
Now My Sun went well, but weakened = -1pt
Good Boy Jackson 2nd by a neck = -1pt

No return on a frustrating day with a couple going close = -5pts

Saturday 12th May System Bets:

Seek The Fair Land went off 5/1, but was found wanting = -1pt
Dispol Grand WON @ adv 7/2 with plenty left = +3.5pts
Halla San never in it, easing off late on = -1pt
Artistic Jewel had no extra when needed = -1pt
Join Up WON @ adv 4/1 staying on well = +4pts
Ed De Gas went ok, but when asked to push on, failed = -1pt
Lastkingofscotland never in it = -1pt
Firebeam 2nd by a neck = -1pt
Go Green WON @ adv 2/1 staying on well to win = +2pts
Beat The Shower went off 11/1 from adv 20/1 but never able to threaten = -1pt
Fazza WON @ adv 5/1, timing the challenge perfectly = +5pts

So 4 winners giving us a healthy profit of +7.5pts on the day.

Sunday 13th May System Bets:

Plunkett WON @ adv 7/2, running on well = +3.5pts

Nice enough with +3.5pts on the day.

Monday 14th May System Bets:

Robert The Painter didnt look right, completely off the pace as the 2pt bet = -2pts
No Poppy WON @ adv 7/1, holding on to win by a head = +7pts
Angelo Poliziano 2nd by a head, just falling short = -1pt
So Is She stayed on ok, but left too much = -1pt
Memory Cloth one paced = -1pt
Whinging Willie weakened badly = -1pt

Just the one winner, by a slim margin, but also a 2nd place by the same distance = +1pt

Tuesday 15th May System Bets:

Top Benefit weakened = -1pt
Causing Chaos didn't run smoothly = -1pt

No joy with -2pts

Wednesday 16th May System Bets:

Gatewood WON as our 2pt bet @ adv 7/1, driving on well = +14pts
Flag Officer pulled up =1pt
Sweet Irony went off 11/8 fav but despite going well early on, blundered and lost out = -1pt
Rawaaj 3rd but no chance with the winner = -1pt

So a decent enough day with the 2pter winning at nice odds = +11pts

Thursday 17th May System Bets:

Steps never really in it = -1pt
Sajjhaa 2nd, but just short = -1pt
Set To Music one paced = -1pt
Ernest Hemingway well beaten = -1pt
Mandaean weakened = -1pt
Justonefortheroad always mid-division = -1pt
Mijhaar 3rd with every chance, just short = -1pt
Navajo Chief stayed on ok, but too far back anyhow = -1pt
Hunt A Mistress weakened late on = -1pt
Gambo held up, made a mistake and never in it after that = -1pt
Starboard not good enough = -1pt

A horrible horrible day, where nothing right went for us at all. Has been a long time since we have had such a blank day - but it acts as a stark reminder they are just around the corner. -11pts


Friday 18th May System Bets:

Be Fabulous held up and no extra when asked = -1pt
Times Up one paced = -1pt
Ishi Honest 3rd, but not by much, staying on, but just short = -2pts
Expert Fighter held up and weakened = -1pt
Threes Grand outpaced = -1pt
Boogie Shoes 2nd as a 2pt bet, despite leading late on, just not enough though = -2pts
Abernethy never got going = -1pt
Copperwood WON @ adv 3/1, in a good run, staying on well = +3pts
Desert Philosopher had no extra = -1pt
Ailsa Craig never in it = -1pt
Law To Himself weakened badly = -1pt

So again, a bad day, unfortunate they came back to back with -9pts on the sheet. Not too far away with the 2pt bets though. Frustrating.

Saturday 19th May System Bets:

Ibicenco never got challenging = -1pt
Rewarded was hampered when pursuit began to chase down leaders = -1pt
Farhaan no extra unfortunately, but wasn't too far away = -1pt
Saigon never a threat = -1pt
Orlittlebylittle WON @ 4/1, making all, and ridden on well despite a couple of stumbles = +4pts
Arctic Feeling one paced = -1pt
Kashgar outpaced = -1pt

So another losing day, albeit only -2pts knocked off.

Sunday 20th May System Bets:

Jonny Lesters Hair 3rd, just a little short = -1pt
Just For Mary never in it = -1pt

-2pts knocked off.

Monday 21st May System Bets:

Noodles Blue Boy 2nd as the 2pt bet, despite going off 8/1, stayed on well but just left too much to do = -2pts
Alpha Tauri was a NR
Falasteen was a NR
Red Lover was just short, coming 3rd = -1pt
Party Royal was a NR

So three selections did not run, leaving a close 2nd for our 2pt bet and overall -3pts lost.

Tuesday 22nd May System Bets:

Welsh Inlet was a rare 3pt bet, but lost in highly frustrating cicumstances as the saddle appeared to slip when running through, leading late on = -3pts
Ollney Lass always behind = -1pt
Bapak Pinter one paced = -1pt

So the bad run continues and in very annoying terms with -5pts lost.

That brings us up to date, and the last few days have not been kind, after a decent run. York was poor (except for Gatewood) and we haven't really picked up. The run since the flat got going has been quite good though, so I guess a little drop off was expected. Let us hope variance plays its part once more and turns it around :)

Qaraaba 2nd despite trying to chase down the winner who just had too much = -1pt

So just the one winner over the period, but i see enough to continue tracking these bets for now.
