Thursday 31st May:


Aciano was unable to improve = -1pt
Aiaam Al Wafa never really go involved = -1pt
Five Out Of Five was help up and couldn't really get involved = -1pt
Florio Vincitore went off a well backed fav but one paced when it mattered = -1pt
King Of The Moors also one paced when needed to improve = -1pt
Ingleby Royale never in it = -1pt

So poor all round in terms of results and runs = -6pts for the day.

Friday 1st June:

Lady Gorgeous started well, but hampered in the final furlong = -1pt
Ostentation WON @ adv 3/1 running on well = +3pts
Coombe Hill blundered late on and fell away = -1pt
Hills Of Aran did not start too well, but ran on ok, until weakening = -1pt
Hallstatt looked to be going close, before not finding enough extra = -1pt

So just the one winner, but a -1pt day

Saturday 2nd June:

Spoke To Carlo 3rd, despite not finding a clear run until late on after switching = -1pt
All On Red outpaced = -1pt
Racy just did not have enough extra to give = -1pt
Maasricht weakened = -1pt
Staff Sergeant started positively but one paced = -1pt
Confessional was well supported in the betting but couldn't find a clear run = -1pt
Imperial Legend 2nd but always just short = -1pt
Heart Of Dubai weakened = -1pt
Kyle Of Bute never in it = -1pt

So a bad day then as we saw no return = -9pts

Sunday 3rd June:

Pause And Clause did not run well, outpaced and make mistakes = -1pt
Dove Cottage started brightly but soon weakened = -1pt

Not much at risk but again no return. Apologies for any confusion with Dove Cottage, it ran at Nottingham not Uttoxeter. - 2pts

Monday 4th June:


Shivsingh never really in it = -1pt
Emily Hall no impression made = -1pt
Solar Spirit 3rd, but one paced late on = -1pt
Mighty Clarets WON, going off 2/1jf, driven well inside the final furlong = +2pts
Cane Cat WON, despite drifting from adv 7/1 to 14/1! Most needed, and won with a timely challenge = +14pts

So a much needed winning day, and in strange circumstances with such a big drifting winner in Cane Cat. +13pts on the day

Tuesday 5th June:


Highlife Dancer settled ok, but tailed well off = -1pt
Hab Reeh WON, despite drifting to 9/2 SP. Made most of the running, and just held on = +4.5pts
John Biscuit chased early leaders, but had no extra = -1pt
Pendle Lady 2nd by a neck at 10/1m running on well late on, but just just short = -1pt
Harouet WON but with a 15p rule 4 applied, pulling well clear to win well = +2.975pts

So another winning day, with BOG proving useful once more. Damn close with Pendle Lady too. +4.475pts added.

So a bad few days fortunately cancelled out by two back-to-back winning ones, meaning we are just -0.525 for the period discussed.

1st June
Coax 2nd by a head = -1pt

2nd June:
Liber just a little short = -1pt
Piscean weakened late on = -1pt

4th June:
Mr Snoozy 2nd, but just a little short of the pace set = -1pt

Again, not great, but I can see signs in these, and will continue to persist. A bit more luck would have seen better figures.
