Total = -2pts, but close to a nice winner.

July 2nd:
Barachiel, Cathedral, Henry Allingham and Efistorm were all due to run at Ffos Las but bad weather has seen that meeting abandoned.
Cellist WON @ adv 13/8, going off a well backed 8/11f = +1.625pts

Total = +1.625pts

So over the period we have seen some topsy turvy days, and the bad weather really is so frustrating. The breakdown is at follows:

18 Winners
84 Losers

-18.25pts over the period

So very disappointing, despite hitting a decent strike rate. I have pointed out that for what now feels an eternity, the weather is really affecting things. We can't seem to get a decent period of sustained, consistent factors which are no doubt clearly hindering things right now. We just have to plough on.

June 30th:
Tipping Over = -1pt
Church Music = -1pt

If you recall, I did not get round to posting the tracking bets for June 20th as I was at Ascot, and couldn't find the time to do so. I have just run the filters and they were:

June 20th:
Ascot:
2.30 Sovereign Debt = -1pt
4.25 Arabian Star = -1pt
4.25 Prince Of Johanne WON @ 16/1
5.00 Graphic Guest = -1pt

So, typically, a very nice winner in Prince of Johanne, which goes a little way to assisting the results of the tracking bets which have not been doing too well since we starting blogging them. I do think there is still worth in keeping watching these - the filters which make up the tracking bets are profitable in their own right, we just seem to hit the bar a bit when it comes to them agreeing with our other filters. I am not sure why, but in the long run, I do feel it will swing in our favour soon enough. We have hit a lot of place finishes, June 21st was very much a 'nearly' day so I remain hopeful.

Over the period, the tracking bets went:
2 winners
23 losers
-10.5pts

So that brings us entirely up to date. Sorry for taking so long, and for falling behind. Will try and keep on top of things as best as possible from here on in.

Thanks for your patience, and I hope you stick with us.
