Hit the bar yesterday with a couple of second place finishes and a couple more only placing. I knew with Grand Diamond that it would have probably been sensible to advise an EW - the race was 8 runners with 3 to place, but, because of the unreliability of 8 runners actually racing meant I swerved suggesting this. Grand Diamond subsequently placed.
Today is not so good, as the rains fall once more. Just two bets today.
6.00 Beverley - Pass Muster @ 11/2
7.05 Kempton - Travelling @ 9/2
Both are advised win only, despite both races currently showing 8 runners. If you choose to wait until closer to race time to see if this stays consistent, and choose to back EW, that is your choice. For the purposes of the blog and record, I will not take the chance they both do. Good luck whatever you do.
